About Me

I love music, and especially playing the piano. I aim to inspire my students to develop a lifelong enjoyment and appreciation of music and help them gain the skills to become confident pianists able to play the music they enjoy. I have enjoyed playing the piano from a young age, and took my very first piano exam when I was 8 years old. I am currently working towards a performance diploma.

I have an Elementary Piano Teacher Specialist certificate (RCM) as well as being a qualified primary school teacher with QTS, with over 12 years experience working with children.

I hold a current enhanced DBS (previously CRB) certificate. I am a member of the Curious Piano Teachers Community, supporting teachers with professional development. I am also a full professional member of EPTA (European Piano Teachers’ Association) and hold public liability insurance.

I love my job as a piano teacher, and there is nothing better than watching students improve their skills over time. I keep up to date with new music books and teaching methods, as well as professional development opportunities in order to provide the best outcomes for my students.
